Reversible automatic self-aligning roller, belonging to the conveyor belt correction device, consists of a base, a rotating support, a supporting roller, a bracket, a side bracket, and left and right symmetrical, independently separated load-bearing rollers and damping rollers with the upper busbar on the same plane.

When the tape deviates, the damping roller generates internal friction resistance and motion resistance from the outer shape of the conical roller on the tape. These two types of resistance directly push the bracket to deflect, thereby causing the bracket to generate a deflection force on the tape, which automatically corrects the tape and returns to the center. The self-aligning roller structure is simple and reasonable, with low friction resistance and good self-aligning effect, which can completely solve the problem of tape deviation.

Working principle

The reversible self-aligning idler of a belt conveyor rotates the support by generating a certain friction force between the left and right curved discs and the fixed friction plate fixed on the idler shaft. When the tape deviates, it comes into contact with the left or right curve disc and generates friction through the curve disc, causing the bracket to rotate a certain angle and achieve the purpose of centering.
