It accounts for 35% of the total cost of a belt conveyor and bears more than 70% of the resistance, so the quality of the rollers is particularly important. The function of the idler is to support the weight of the conveyor belt and materials.

The operation of the idler roller must be flexible and reliable, reducing the friction between the conveyor belt and the idler roller, which plays a key role in the service life of the conveyor belt, which accounts for more than 25% of the total cost of the conveyor. Although the idler roller is a small component in a belt conveyor and its structure is not complex, manufacturing high-quality idlers is not an easy task.

Scope of use of parallel rollers

1) Parallel upper roller: Parallel lower roller: Applicable scope: Port transportation terminals, mining conveying, mechanical equipment.

2) Parallel upward centering roller, parallel downward centering roller: Applicable range to prevent belt deviation.

Characteristics of parallel rollers

Parallel rollers have extremely high wear resistance, extremely low friction coefficient, and are not easily worn on the belt;

Superior self-lubricating properties, no need for oil injection, and less likely to get stuck when used under harsh conditions;

Has anti-static, anti combustion, anti-aging, acid, alkali and organic solvent corrosion resistance;

Capable of withstanding repeated impacts and vibrations;

Operating temperature range: -40 ℃ -90 ℃;

Excellent mechanical performance, light weight, easy installation, no need for maintenance;

Characteristics such as smooth operation and long lifespan.

Materials and processes

1) The roller body uses high-precision roller specific steel pipes with good wear resistance and a cylinder wall thickness of ≥ 4.5mm. The roller welding adopts CO2 shielded welding, requiring good weld quality and high welding accuracy;

2) The roller bearings adopt Ha, Wa, and Luo bearings;

3) The bearing seat is a stamped or internally welded structure;;

4) Sealing form: Three layer seal (outer layer seal, labyrinth seal, lithium based grease seal);

5) Axial movement of the roller: ± 0.5mm;

6) The external dustproof characteristics of the roller: comply with the regulations of MT821-1999.

7) Waterproof performance of roller: in accordance with the regulations of MT821-1999.

8) Overload capacity of roller bearings: 170%.

9) Service life:>50000 hours.

10) The bearing seat is welded using automatic welding equipment, and the bearing seat is formed by stamping a 4mm steel plate as a whole.

11) The coefficient of resistance to rotation of the upper roller shall not exceed 0.020, and the coefficient of resistance to rotation of the lower roller shall not exceed 0.016.

12) The surface of the roller is coated with electrostatic spraying technology, with the roller surface sprayed with black anti rust paint as a whole and the bottom sprayed with anti rust paint.

 13) The rollers are lubricated with lithium grease filled in a quantitative manner.

14) Require the roller to have high overall assembly accuracy, flexible rotation, and maintenance free.
